TenX Walks
There's nothing better than being in the fresh air with a decent packed lunch, flask and a bunch of like minded people to chat to. Taking time out to switch off and refresh is such an important part of startup life.
That's why we set up TenX walks to offer founders and team leaders the chance to mingle with their peers, learn some new stuff, swap stories and relax. There's no better place in the UK than the Lake District in our opinion.

our next walks are.......
Friday April 25th - High Street
10 miles with 2400 feet of climbing. High Street is the highest peak of the Eastern Fells in the Lake District. Surrounded by tarns, reservoirs and dramatic mountain scenery, this walk is another classic that showcases the very best of the Lake District.
Friday May 23rd - Coledale Horseshoe
8.4 miles with 2700 feet of climbing. The Coledale Horseshoe is a bute of a walk which takes us on a tour of the beautiful North-Western Fells with spectacular panoramic views across the Lake District. This is also one of the quietest areas of the Lake District allowing you to escape the crowds - boom!!!
Friday June 27th - Blencathra
9 miles with 2800 feet of climbing. This is one of the most beautiful and varied places to explore in the Lake District. Our route takes us up 4-summits which provide amazing views.
Friday July 18th - Helvellyn to Grasmere
8.6 miles with 3400 feet of ascent. This our only one way linear walk, i.e not circular, which starts with a short bus ride from Grasmere. It's a walk where you get up high quickly and then spend most of the day with 360 degree views of amazing mountain ranges and up to 4 lakes on a clear day.
Friday September 27th - High Raise
10.5 miles with 2700 feet of climbing. An amazing lesser known walk in The Lakes that offers great 360 degree views from from the extra wide and flat summit.
Friday August 22nd - Newlands Horseshoe
11.5 miles with 3800 feet of ascent. This is a magical 6 summit walk all of which are Wainwrights!!! The climbs include Cat Bells, High Spy, Dale Head, Robinson, Hindscarth Edge and Black Crag. The views of the surrounding landscape and the lake below are absolutely spectacular and well worth the effort.
Friday September 26th - Buttermere & Haystacks
8.5 miles with 2200 feet of climbing. This is a beautiful walk along the banks of the stunning Buttermere Lake before we head up Haystacks, which was Wainwright's favourite summit. This area of the Lakes is often voted the most beautiful and it's certainly quieter than most parts. An amazing, slightly easier walk that offers great views, peace and tranquility.
