A stunning 6 summit walk taking in 6 Wainwrights, yes that 6 Wainwrights in one day!!
This is a challenging walk, in terms of distance and ascent but boy it's soo worth it. This walk is more suited for people with a medium + level of fitness as 6+ hours on your feet is a fairly long day out.

From the west side of Derwentwater we head up our first climb towards Hindescarth before reaching the highest point of the day, Dale Head. Depending on the weather we will either stop here for lunch and soak in the views or head down towards High Spy (what a name) and later to Cat Bells, which is one of the most photographed hills in the Lakes.
​
This is a circular walk so we will finish near Derwentwater and then head to a nearby cafe / pub for a well deserved brew before we scoot off home.

What should I bring? = Walking boots, waterproofs, suncream, rucksack, 2 litres of water, packed lunch plus any sweets and nibbles you fancy. A flask of coffee is also a good shout!!

Can I bring my dog? = Sorry not for this walk.

What's the cost? = This walk is £40 per person, but 100% will be donated to the Alzheimer Society .

What's the group size? = Maximum of 10 for this walk.
​
How fit do I need to be? = Fairly fit as this is a 5+ hour walk with some steep climbs. If you run and can run 5K in under 30 minutes we'd say this is a good fitness barometer.
What pace will we walk at? = Don't worry we don't race around, this is a leisurely walk where we go at the pace of the slowest person/people.
