This is one of our favourite walks in the Lakes. We head out of Grasmere (by bus) to the start at Thirlmere, where we begin our climb up Helvellyn. Once at the top, you will get 360 degree views of amazing mountain ranges and up to 4 lakes on a clear day. After posing for a few photos we will then head South towards Nethermost Pike, Dollywagon Pike and Grisedale Tarn, which makes a great lunchtime stop for a few sarnies and a flask of coffee. After lunch we will descend back towards Grasmere. This is a linear walk versus the many circular walks you may have done before, which makes it that extra bit special.
Once back in Grasmere we will drop into a nearby cafe for a well earned brew before we head off home.

What's the cost? = This walk is £40 per person, but 100% will be donated to the Alzheimer Society.
What's the group size? = Maximum of 10 for this walk.
How fit do I need to be? = Fairly fit as this is a 5+ hour walk with some steep climbs. If you run and can run 5K in under 30 minutes we'd say this is a good fitness barometer.
