This is a stunning walk which is a little shorter and easier than most walks we do in the Lakes but it makes up for it in beauty.
​
We'll walk around the banks of lake Buttermere which is often named as the most beautiful lake in the National Park. From here we head up Haystacks, which is no slouch at 1960 feet where you will see amazing views. At the summit we will stop for a breather, a few photos and the main event, our packed lunch.

Once back in Buttermere we will have a well-deserved brew before we head off home. You will not find a prettier walk in the Lakes!!

What should I bring? = Walking boots, waterproofs, suncream, rucksack, 2 litres of water, packed lunch plus any sweets and nibbles you fancy. A flask of coffee is also a good shout!!

Can I bring my dog? = Yes as long as it's on a lead all day.

What's the cost? = This walk is £40 per person, but 100% will be donated to the Alzheimer Society.
​
What's the group size? = Maximum of 10 for this walk.
​
How fit do I need to be? = Fairly fit as this is a 5+ hour walk with some steep climbs. If you run and can run 5K in under 30 minutes we'd say this is a good fitness barometer.
What pace will we walk at? = Don't worry we don't race around, this is a leisurely walk where we go at the pace of the slowest person/people.
