Scafell Pike is England’s highest peak at 978m. It's a classic Lake District adventure with breathtaking views and a real sense of achievement at the summit. It's the walk that we get asked to do more than any other given it's legendary status, but don't worry we will go at a steady pace so you get chance to enjoy the amazing views.

A challenging walk, in terms of distance and ascent. This walk is more suited for people with a medium + level of fitness as 6+ hours on your feet is a fairly long day out. We will follow one of the classic routes up, through rugged valleys and along stone-paved mountain paths. As we climb, the landscape opens up to sweeping panoramas across Borrowdale, Wasdale and beyond.

We'll find a good place to stop for our packed lunch at the top or shortly afterwards as we head down.

This is a circular walk so we will finish in Seathwaite and then head to a nearby cafe / pub for a well deserved brew before we head off home.
